The Kooiman Group is producer and supplier of the well-known “De Biesbosch” anchor and coupling winches. In total, “De Biesbosch” produced about six thousand coupling winches and two thousand anchor winches.
Nowadays, the production of this proven design is executed within the Kooiman Group. In principle all components of these winches can be delivered from stock.
The Kooiman Group produces, repairs, modifies and maintains existing winches and supplies spare parts. The winches can be delivered with various types of drive as may be required.
In addition to the well-known winches, the Kooiman Group also supplies other components for the push boat transport from stock, such as cast steel cleats, flat bollards and push barge bollards. For these proven design items, the Kooiman Group owns the original moulds enabling them to deliver high quality castings. Also items like chain stoppers, roller mooring ports, boiler covers and other related items are within the scope of supply.
The Kooiman Group is also producing the proven “De Biesbosch” bow rudders for push barges. These pneumatically operated bow rudders can be built-in by the Group.
